Open Championship Tour

Experience the pinnacle of golfing excellence with our Open Championship Rota Tour, where you'll play the legendary courses that have hosted golf's most prestigious tournament, all while reveling in the breathtaking beauty and rich history of these iconic venues.

Day 1: Arrive in Glasgow, set on the beautiful River Clyde, a vibrant party city known for it's intense football rivalry. Head for Trump Turnberry where you will stay the next couple of nights.

Day 2: Play Trump Turnberry. This uniquely special golf course is famed for its stunning coastal vistas, rich Open Championship history, and meticulously designed holes that create an unparalleled golfing experience. In this magical place the 'Duel in the Sun' happened here between Watson and Nicklaus, and Tom Watson almost had another historic win here when he just needed a par at the last to win The Open at age 59.

Day 3: Play Royal Troon. This venue is world reknowned for its storied Open Championship legacy, challenging and diverse holes, and breathtaking coastal views. It is also well known for the
famous 'Postage Stamp' par 3 and notoriously very difficult 11th hole. The memorable and exhilerating 'Duel in the wind' happened here between eventual winner Henrik Stenson and valient runner-up Phil Mickelson.

Day 4: Play Royal Lytham & St. Annes. Despite being quite uniquely a links that is a mile or so away from the sea, this historic Open Championship course is still very much a true links. It has a stragetic layout that is uniquely surrounded by red-brick houses, and the iconic clubhouse filled with golf memorabilia. It's an experience golfers do not want to miss.

Day 5: Play Southport and Ainsdale. Southport and Ainsdale Golf Club stands out for being a final Open qualifer and its dual Ryder Cup history, strategic railway sleepers in its bunkers, and its blend of natural dune landscapes with meticulously crafted holes. Despite being a world class course itself it is located just 6 minutes from our next venue, and the more famous Royal Birkdale.

Day 6: Play Royal Birkdale. This venue is distinguished by its towering sand dunes framing immaculate fairways, an unmatched history of hosting ten Open Championships, Ryder Cups and its iconic Art Deco clubhouse, offering a visually stunning and historically rich golfing experience. This magnificent links has been voted many times as the best golf course in England.

Day 7: Play Royal Liverpool Golf Club. This historic Hoylake setting, has a distinctive flat yet deceptively challenging terrain. It has hosted The Open no less than 12 times, with winners including Rory McIroy and Tiger Woods. On a scorched summer links in 2006 Tiger's strategy placed a premium on avoiding the deadly bunkers, continually hitting 2 iron off the tee.

The Beatles Story: An immersive museum dedicated to the legendary band, offering insights into their music and history.

Albert Dock: A historic dock featuring a collection of museums, galleries, shops, and restaurants.

Liverpool Cathedral: The largest cathedral in Britain, known for its stunning architecture and panoramic views of the city.

Anfield Stadium: Home to Liverpool FC, offering stadium tours and a museum for football fans.

Tate Liverpool: A leading modern art gallery with an impressive collection of British and international contemporary art.

Royal Liver Building: One of the city's most iconic landmarks, part of the "Three Graces" along the waterfront.

Merseyside Maritime Museum: Exploring Liverpool’s maritime history, including its role in the Titanic story.

Cavern Club: The famous music venue where The Beatles performed early in their career.

Walker Art Gallery: Housing an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, and decorative arts.

Sefton Park: A beautiful public park featuring a Victorian Palm House and boating lake.

Day 9: Head for Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
